We are currently looking for an Associate Director to join our Residential design team.

You will take the lead in the development and delivery of multiple projects taking place simultaneously. You will inspire project teams and manage resources to ensure that for each project an initial concept is developed and successfully delivered through to the final stages on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates will have 10 years experience working on luxury interior design projects with a good understanding of current trends, you will be commercially aware with financial and business knowledge of the sector.

You will have an excellent understanding of architectural design, materials and product design. An excellent communicator; providing direction to the Senior Designer and Project Designer on your team to ensure that the project concept is delivered. You will have proven ability working with high profile clients, maintaining and developing relationships with both clients, contractors and suppliers.

We are recruiting an HR Manager to join our team, to implement of our people strategy and to lead HR Best Practice processes across The Studio.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience within an interiors and architecture studio, a commercial approach to HR and the ability quickly to develop rapport with individuals across the Studio. To be successful in this role, you will be an excellent communicator, be able to multi-task and prioritise, and possess an awareness of current employment trends within the design industry.

Desirable skills include experience as a member of a Senior Management Team and knowledge of payroll & pension processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment of all Studio staff and maintaining and developing excellent relationships with recruitment agencies, providing support to Managers on employee relation issues, and ensuring policies and procedures are communicated to all staff effectively, providing training where required.

We are currently looking for a Project Designer for our commercial team to work on hospitality and retail projects.

You will assist in the development of projects and inspire your team to ensure that an initial concept is developed and successfully delivered through to the final stages on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates will have solid experience of working in luxury interior design with a good understanding of current trends in hospitality and retail interior sectors.

Managing your team on a day to day basis and being the main client contact; good communication and people management skills are essential as well as an excellent understanding of architectural design, materials and product design.

Responsibilities include: developing and preparing scheme designs, liaising with contractors and clients and contributing to new business.

We are currently looking for a Mid-level Interior Designer to join our Commercial design team.

You will assist in the development of projects, interpreting design briefs and managing the day to day development of a project to ensure that an initial concept is developed and successfully delivered through to the final stages on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years experience working on luxury commercial interior design projects with a good understanding of the F&B and Hospitality sectors.

You will have experience working on all stages of a project from concept through to completion. You will be versed in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign software, you will also have good hand drawing skills. An excellent communicator; providing support to the senior team to ensure that the project concept is delivered.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Demonstrate the ability to think creatively, developing and preparing scheme designs, managing incoming and outcoming drawings, detailing specific project requirements e.g. furniture sketching, electrical.

Here at David Collins we encourage applicants from any academic design background (Furniture Design, Spatial Design, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Products Design) to apply to our paid six month internship programme.

The scheme enables graduates to develop their knowledge of the design industry while actively contributing to the Studio.

All applicants should be AutoCAD proficient, be proactive, willing to learn and have a can-do attitude (In Design and Photoshop is an added benefit).
