David Collins Studio run a three month internship programme. Candidates should have a degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Product Design or related subject, an interest in design, the work of our Studio, along with an abundance of energy.

Candidates with a keen interest in photography are also invited to submit applications to assist with photographing our Studio processes and completed projects.

David Collins Studio is looking for a Mid-level FF&E Designer to work in our interior architecture and design Studio.

Candidates will be required to posses:

Four to six years commercial commercial design experience.

Preferable CAD and sketching experience.
Excellent supplier knowledge.
Experience with Filemaker, Spec Designer, Excel or an equivalent.
Industry-standard system.

Possess a degree or equivalent in Interior Design, Furniture Design or Architecture.

Have excellent communication skills – written and verbal are essential.

Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D; Word; Excel; Powerpoint; Photoshop; Illustrator; Photography.

David Collins Studio is looking for a Mid Weight Designer to work in our interior architecture and design Studio.

Candidates will be required to posses:

3-6 years commercial design experience.
An ability to think creatively through active participation in
internal team meetings and brainstorms.
Excellent thought process in creative concepts, making suggestions at appropriate stages in the project.
An ability to manage incoming and outgoing drawings by printing, collating and filing.
CAD, SketchUP and sketching experience is preferable.
Excellent supplier knowledge.
Experience with InDesign.
Experience with Filemaker, Spec Designer, Excel or an equivalent.
Industry-standard system.

Possess a degree or equivalent in Interior Design, Furniture Design or Architecture.

David Collins Studio is looking for a Senior CAD Designer to work in our interior architecture and design Studio.

Candidates will be required to posses:

6-10 years experience across residential projects with a high level of technical aptitude.
Detail Design/Planning and scoping.
Assist senior designers in the development and preparation of scheme designs
Demonstrate an ability to communicate with key team members at each stage of the project.
Detail specific project requirements e.g. furniture sketching, electrical drawings, models etc.
Advanced CAD, SketchUP and sketching experience is essential.

Possess a degree or equivalent in Interior Design, Furniture Design or Architecture.

David Collins Studio is looking for a Senior Designer to work in our interior architecture and design Studio.

Candidates will be required to posses:

6 to 10 years commercial design experience.
The ability to Lead initial concept meetings
Manage design detail and create boards/layout plans, attend meetings present FF&E concepts to clients.
Work with designers to prepare full FF&E schedule.
Work with designers to prepare, schedule and cost all FF&E specifications.
Prepare spreadsheets outlining all costs and gain approval from MD and Account.
Co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers to ensure that all specifications and deliveries.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers throughout the procurement of FF&E
Handover – assist in final stages of project.

Possess a degree or equivalent in Interior Design, Furniture Design or Architecture.

Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D; Word; Excel; Powerpoint; Photoshop; Illustrator; Photography.

Candidates will be required to posses:

The ability to manage incoming and outgoing drawings by printing, collating and filing.
AutoCAD skills, project paper filing, sorting suitable suppliers.
Assisting with presentations and sample board preparation.
General assistance to project teams.

Candidates will be required to posses:

Four to six years residential design experience.

Proven track record of:

Generating and developing concepts that provide an original, appropriate and effective solution to a creative brief.
Orchestrating pitches and proposals through effective leadership and facilitation.
The ability to co-ordinate workload, ensuring that all stages of the project are delivered with clarity on time and on budget.
Scheduling and communicating costs and specifications of projects to internal and external sources.
An extensive knowledge of developing and preparing scheme designs.
