V&A Reading Rooms, Exhibition Road, Kensington, London, UK

In 2011, David Collins Studio collaborated with V&A Enterprises to create the V&A Reading Rooms, a temporary store with a concept based on the book stores come wine bars of Paris. The pop up project sold an authoritative selection of tomes on subjects like fashion, design, architecture, photography, graphics and art, including books published by the V&A itself together with rare, vintage and early editions. The design was utilitarian featuring vintage café chairs and retaining some of the space’s original interior architecture elements.
