This year sees David Collins Studio embarking on their second luxury five star hotel project in America. The Studio has developed a unique design for the extensive refurbishment of the 250-room Bel Age hotel on West Hollywood's Sunset Boulevard. The London West Hollywood brings a discreet, dignified glamour to this hip, high profile neighbourhood.

London's famous Fortnum & Mason recently celebrated its tercentenary by unveiling five new, revitalised restaurant and bar interiors by David Collins Studio. These include the 1707 Wine Bar, The Fountain, The Gallery, The Parlour.

The recently completed mid level suites at The London NYC: the six ‘Sky Suites’, ‘The London Atrium’ and the four ‘London Apartments’ are each unique self-contained apartments with drawing room, dining room, study, pantry kitchen and master bedroom with ensuite dressing and bathroom are the height of luxury. Spacious, connected reception rooms have superb sweeping views of Central Park and the Hudson River.

Spring sees the unveiling of the 53rd floor duplex ‘London Penthouse’, the highest in Manhattan.

January 2008 saw the opening of David Collins Studio’s third Blackstone Group hotel project located in Prague. The new scheme involved substantial renovation of the entire ground and first floor public areas, effectively repositioning the property to more accurately reflect the architecture of the host city and also the increasingly affluent and cultured clientele that the hotel is designed to attract.

The recently opened Landau restaurant at the Langham Hotel concludes the first phase of the £50million refurbishment programme which the landmark Victorian property is currently undergoing. David Collins Studio has created a 100 seat restaurant and separate private dining to partner the success of Artesian which opened previously.

Spring sees the opening of a new all-day dining establishment in London’s Soho – a quintessentially English brasserie and late night bar occupying the space formerly known as Circus Restaurant and Bar. David Collins Studio are responsible for the extensive refurbishment of both the interior and exterior, creating a distinctive identity that conveys a sense of heritage, refinement and quality in keeping with the BBR concept of 'posh English comfort food and drink' delivered by first-class service.

Opening this Summer, the revamped bar at The Connaught Hotel is a welcome addition to the iconic Maybourne owned Mayfair hotel. Key to the design is the concept of an English tailored space. The series of three interconnecting rooms are about history, heritage and establishment but with a renewed twist. Unique signature cocktails and canapés will be served.
