Suites by David Beckham, The Londoner Macao

David Collins Studio has designed 14 branded VIP suites in collaboration with brand ambassador David Beckham, at The Londoner Macao. The invitation only suites feauture two distinct schemes based on David Beckham’s favourite colours: navy blue and British racing green.

The design of the suites was informed by extensive discussions between David Beckham and David Collins Studio, to understand his preferred style of interior, his personal taste and his interests, including his favourite bars, restaurants and hotels.

The suites have been designed to embody a residential feel, and the spaces are peppered with subtle references to David Beckham’s football career and to his personal life throughout. David’s love of fashion and tailoring is referenced with nods to London’s Savile Row and Jermyn Street, achieved through the use of traditional British tailoring fabrics patterns, such as houndstooth, Prince of Wales check and pinstripe. Broguing details are also used to reference his love of Church’s Shoes, a quintessentially British heritage brand.
