Kabaret's Prophecy, Soho, London, UK

The basement club at 16-18 Beak Street, Soho formerly known as Murray’s Kabaret, was reopened in 2004 as Kabaret’s Prophecy. The nightclub featured collaborations with the artists Jamie Hewlett, Natasha Law and United Visual Artists, creating subversive residents, contemporary erotic sketches and a kaleidoscopic video installation respectively. With interiors by David Collins Studio, designed to be an antidote the “super-clubs” prominent at the time. The brief was for an intimate and sexy, service-orientated club bringing a new dynamic to this Soho landmark.
